Did you catch Stateline last Friday? Troy Langman of Tascann will be along to talk to Astrotas about Medical Marijuana soon. Local lady Natalie Daly speaks out
And finally ““The Burzynski Research Institute, Inc. (BRI) announced today that U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has notified the company that its partial clinical hold on its IND for Antineoplastons A10/AS2-1 Injections has been lifted. The FDA has determined that under its IND the Company may initiate its planned Phase 3 study in newly diagnosed diffuse, intrinsic, brainstem glioma. The Company is continuing discussions with the Agency in an effort to finalize additional details of the phase 3 study protocol for the potential clinical trial.”
to honor the FDA lifting its ban on Burzynski, “Burzynski: Cancer Is Serous Business, Part II” is available to watch for FREE online, anywhere in the world, until July 15th: https://vimeo.com/69209285
You can also see part one online which was screened at Astrotas in 2011. Shontelle Hiron, the aussie Burzynski patient I contacted for more information before screening at Astrotas is not in either movie but she has her old Current Affairs TV clips online. Read more about her remarkable story here – http://wp.me/p18qSp-3C
The fight to allow any patient access to his treatment is far from over. It shocked me to learn that at the time my schoolfriend’s mother died of a similar tumour Shontelle was in Texas receiving this potentially curative treatment.

Dr. Burzynski is still under attack (incredible isn’t it?) A former Burzynski patient from WA Shontelle Hiron has uploaded her video archive of the television reports that were done by A current affair to facebook: http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=309685522391642&id=318281183441
There is a new release of the video Cancer is serious business with extended footage available at the website www.burzynskimovie.com and if you want to show your friends it is now on the documentary channel for online viewing http://documentarychannel.com/movie.php?currID=9686&t=Burzynski:-Cancer-is-Serious-Business
I have tracked down some free copies of books pertinent to previous meetings on the internet:
The_Miracle_of_Fasting by Paul Bragg
” the third element of blood ” by Antoine Bechamp
(I still have several meeting reports to catch up on – notably uploading the video and photographs from the farm visit.) Happy New year! Carolyn Rutter VP
We had persmission to host a screening of Burzynski the movie – cancer is serious business which had its australian premier last year at the Byron Bay film festival. ( copies available to purchase through us or website if you can’t watch it online at the Documentary channel. )
Burzynski, the Movie is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who discovered a novel group of human peptides (small proteins) he christened “antineoplastons” because they have anti cancer properties. Anti-neoplastons target the genes that turn both cancer cells and the body’s cancer prevention cells, on and off.
“This documentary takes the audience through the treacherous, yet victorious, 14-year journey both Dr. Burzynski and his patients have had to endure in order to obtain american Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved clinical trials of Antineoplaston
One form of cancer – diffuse, intrinsic, childhood brainstem glioma has never before been cured in any scientifically controlled clinical trial in the history of medicine. Antineoplastons hold the first cures in history – dozens of them.”
In 2000 one of his former australian patients, Shontelle Hiron, with Dr.Burzynski by her side, took part in the Olympic Torch relay in Mandurah WA. Shontelle still lives in Western Australia.
“At the age of 12 Shontelle Hiron was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball. Doctors gave her only weeks to live.
The community of Queensland, Australia, where Shontelle and her family live, rallied behind the Hirons. They were helped by (current) Labor Relations Minister Graham Kierath. Their efforts were successful in obtaining clinical trials with antineoplastons at Princess Margaret Hospital.” http://www.burzynskipatientgroup.org/shontelle-hiron
According to my conversation with Shontelle and her father this Australian trial which was to have had 6 participants including Shontelle never went ahead due to the upheavals caused by the FDA shown in the movie. Only Shontelle received anti neoplastons from the USA – only Shontelle survives.
UPDATE 2012: Shontelle has uploaded the Current Affair episodes she was featured in over the years to her facebook site.
